In his Nobel Prize-winning research, Anfinsen studied how the enzyme
ribonuclease breaks down the ribonucleic acid (RNA) present in food.
Anfinsen was able to ascertain how the ribonuclease molecule folds to
form the characteristic three-dimensional structure that is compatible
